If you're a pinball fan, this is where you have to be. You absolutely have to come here and play if you're in San Antonio and don't want to go all the way to Austin to play. They even have tournaments and leagues and such, for men, women and children. The coffee is great and you're always bombarded by the smell which is kind of uplifting ha. Drinks are reasonably priced and they can cater to folks for most dietary restrictions. You have to come here and play some pinball, with more than 30 machines there's surely something here for everyone. And yes, there's little stools for kids to use to reach easier. Vegetarian options: Some breads and pastries that are vegetarian friendly. Not a lot of food options though. Dietary restrictions: Diet friendly. Parking: Lots of spots behind building. Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly. Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible.
Chill little place. Bring cash for the pinball machines. Parking: Limited parking on street side, more in the rear Kid-friendliness: It's a pinball arcade with a coffee shop. Definitely geared towards teens and adults, but wholesome enough for bigger kids (over age 8) Wheelchair accessibility: There's ramps for entry. One of the game rooms might be a tight squeeze in a chair, but otherwise it's pretty accessible.
Lots of coffee beans available for purchase. I had an oatmilk latte, and my husband had their house drip. Coffee was good. It's, also, a fun place to play as they have pinball machines available. Their big sign says open Monday-Saturday, however they are open Sundays.
Good experience if you want to try different origins countries coffees and pinball machines.
Got to try this coffee at the Pearl farmers market tent. What a deal!
Plenty of coffee choices, lots of cool retro, rare and new pinball machines. Not much food selections. Family friendly atmosphere.
My family loved our first time here enjoying our lattes and playing pinball! We didn’t know if it would be a good environment for kids, but there were lots of other kids there and a great family environment. The staff were very helpful in answering questions and helping us feel welcomed. Kid-friendliness: There were arcade games and board games for all ages
Fantastic mocha. Extra chocolaty.
My friend lost her wallet today. It was her first time at What’s Brewing and she was having fun, so it was an honest mistake. She was in panic mode, trying to find it. Someone named Benjamin found it for us and was totally awesome about it…totally understood and was a really great dude! (Girl who answered the phone seemed annoyed that we called more than once for help, but we were understandably desperate, so she can get over it.) All good, her ‘tude doesn’t matter… because they found the wallet. THANKS BENJAMIN!!
