Whataburger

This was my first dine-In experience with Whataburger and only my second time trying the food. The restaurant was very clean and well kept, the staff were very professional and friendly. I ordered the chicken sandwich combo and compared to other fast food restaurants this sandwich was in a class by itself.

It wasn't very clean but the service was okay. The food is pricey.

Now, when it comes to this place, let me say that first off, their food is fine. Typical fast food fare but tasty. The huge and I mean, HUGE, problem with this restaurant is the time it's going to take you to receive your food! It isn't fast...not by a long shot! Plan on waiting for at least a half hour once you enter the establishment either through the drive-thru or the front doors. Adding to this incredibly frustrating experience, is the over-worked staff that the owners of this establishment must seem to think that less, is better! When there are ten people waiting in a line inside and you only have one single person taking all orders AND delivery orders as well. The poor overworked woman I witnessed at the front counter does her best not to be impolite. I was told my order would be ready in a half hour. After that time had passed, I asked her how much longer she thought it would be? She gave me an impatient look, walked over to this machine pumping out receipts for orders, tore off about nine of them, held them up in the air and points to the one at the very bottom saying, "You see this, sir? This is where your order is currently at!!". ...and with that, I walked out of the place, never to return again. What a shame, too. The food was actually pretty good. My advice to you? Go there in the off hours. That would be between 8 to 10 am, and 2 to 4 pm. Any other time, you'd best be ready to wait ...and wait ...and wait...

The order is almost always not right. My wife doesn’t want veggies. They almost never get the order right. I’ve given up going here at all
