Food was OK. Service at till was slow and we waited a long time for dessert. One of the desserts was rather disappointing as the ice cream was melting.

I waited over 25 minutes for a pint of Guinness to be served after I ordered on the in pub app. It was only after attracting the attention of a staff member that I received it after 35 minutes. I asked to speak to the manager, but she was "busy". I suggest that customer service training is an immediate requirement. I will not be returning.

Great food , all courses served hot on warm plates and dishes. Lots of food as well, plenty for everyone . Good service empty plates removed promptly. Staff exceptional, very polite , clean and served with a smile. All in all a very pleasant evening and one I will be participating in again on a regular basis. Vegetarian options: Plenty of choice. I noticed the variety of choice particularly because my son is vegetarian and I will be taking him when he comes down from Scotland . Parking: Enough disabled parking places and all by the doors. The car park is huge and I noticed a charging point opposite the door where you can charge up your electric car Kid-friendliness: Tables well spaced so no trouble with chairs being too close and children bumping into anybody. Wheelchair accessibility: I noticed easy access into the restaurant. Loads of room to move a wheelchair inside . Staff willing to remove chairs so that anyone can be taken right up to the table without a fuss being made.

My husband and I visited this pub as we were out of town for the day, (30th march about 5.30,) ( First of all I work with food ) to my disappointment the wrong menus was on the table for the time of day so when I wanted to order I was told it was unavailable, in the end we both ordered the prawn cocktail and to my disappointment I found hair on my plate so I wasn’t happy to start, but I did complain and it was replaced, my husband ordered the hunters chicken which wasn’t very well presented and just about edible, I ended up ordering a chicken burger which was ok I suppose, but before we was ready to leave I wanted to use the bathroom and to my disgust it was unusable because one toilet was blocked and very unsanitary and the second toilet was full of s..t . Won’t be going there again,

The staff were friendly. The food was well presented but not what was actually stated on the menu. The burger was supposed to come with iceberg lettuce but had rocket on it instead. No check back by the staff else I would have mentioned it to them.

Our 50th wedding anniverary booked for 9 at 6.30pm a with the family. No low alcohol wine, no mixed grill ran out of cider. Waited ages for the food got it when the place was nearly empty of diners. Not that good when we got it. Nice pub but won't be eating there again in a hurry.

I run a home for adults with learning disabilities and it was one of their birthdays so I booked a table for the 10 on us. The staff were really amazing, the food was lovely everyone enjoyed what they had ordered and it was very reasonably priced. Staff even brought his birthday cake out with the candles on so we could sing happy birthday. I highly recommend Weavers whistle in Lostock Gralam Dietary restrictions: Staff were very diligent in checking dietary requirements before food was served
