Great experience...for the wine tasting during the winter months, it would be nice to have a couple of bar stools. Felt a little rushed, but the hostess was great.
Good wine and ciders. Good food and atmosphere. Live music too. Nice way to spend an afternoon.
Went this weekend with my boyfriend and we were disappointed. First, though neither one of us is a wine connoisseur none of the wine was palatable to either of us. I will say the bartender was lovely and was doing her best to manage the overly crowded bar. Secondly because they have no system in place for tasting people around us were extremely rude. We ended up getting pushed out of our spot by very rude inconsiderate people that we made room for at the bar who then squeezed us out. Though that's not the fault of the winery had they had a better system to accommodate everyone this wouldn't have happened. We left after our tasting and will not be returning.
Loved it, it turns out that this is the place that makes 2 of my fav NY state drinks: Doc’s pear cider and American Fruits apple liqueur. Decor and ambiance are great. There are a lot of options for food, not very healthy options, but many. I’d try to stay inside, as, although heated, outdoor seating is not as warm as indoor seating (in the winter). Id def give 4.5 stars.
Beautiful winery with a nice sized apple orchard. I’ve been here with my family and friends many times throughout the years. They have a wide variety of wines and ciders. The property is big and laid out very well. Perfect for a weekend outing after a hike nearby!
Horrible attitude from the manager and the waitress. Wish could give lower than 1 star by how disrespected I felt talking to these people. Quality of food means nothing if it’s served by nasty people.
Tastings and wonderful food. Love Doc's ciders. No matter the season its a wonderful vibe.
I went here on a date and we were removed from the premises after being over served by staff and waiting to sober up. No disturbance to guests were caused on our end. We were being responsible and waiting until we felt ready to drive but unfortunately this was unacceptable to staff. Cops were called on us for a false case of public nudity to have us removed and eventually we left and returned to our vehicles an hour later. DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU WANT TO HAVE A GOOD TIME AND BE RESPONSIBLE GETTING HOME!!!!!
My wife has always loved apple picking, so when we found ourselves with free time last weekend we went up to Warwick Valley. We've got the very best local brews flowing in the beer garden just waiting on our friends. We hadn’t been in years, and the winery and distillery have really taken off since we were last there. We had so much fun, and it was the perfect fall day! Thoroughly recommended. Thumbs up!
