What a horrible experience at this place: I went in to get some fishing line and some fishing weights. Almost all of the fishing stuff is locked up behind glass cases. I had to wait for an associate to go get the supervisor, who had the key for the case. The associate came back and told me the supervisor was busy with a manager. So I waited, and waited, and pushed the help button on the glass case a few times...the associate came back to check on me and then went to check on the supervisor again. This time the associate came back with the key. Then I was able to get the fishing line and the weights, which he put into a clear plastic lock box, and gave to me to take up to the cash register. The cash register set up is an absolute cluster. I ended up getting in a line with a clueless cashier and a clueless customer. When it came time for the customer to pay there was something wrong with her debit card. The cashier told her there was something wrong with the card, but she didn't know what... so while they stood there and looked at each other I left with my now unlocked fishing line and weights, and got in line at the self checkout. The line at the self checkout was snaking all the way into the produce section. So I waited, and waited, and waited, and then when I got into the self checkout only four of about eight of the checkout registers were functioning and operational. I paid with my credit card and was stumped as to why my receipt wasn't printing... then I realized the register wanted me to choose between my card and my Citibank points. Thanks, but if I'm using my card then I just want to use my card and leave. Trying to get through the registers and out of the store is enough of a challenge without having to try to figure out why the payment process isn't working. After checking out I had to get into another line with security who was checking people's receipts. No big deal, but as I stood there waiting I watched the security guard draw a big happy face on the receipt of the person in front of me. Total time in & out of the store to buy fishing line and two bags of weights.. no joke, 30 minutes.
