I'm done with the Walmart grocery in Mandeville. High staff turnover, very poor condition of produce among other issues. I'll drive another half mile in either direction for better groceries.
I've liked this store for years, but 3 times in a row I have bought 1 pound packages of ground beef that were less than a pound. On a good, calibrated kitchen scale, the last two packs were 15.2 and 15.25 ounces. I thought it was a fluke at first, but three times!
Pick up grocery is awful. Last couple of times we waited 30min after calling multiple times, and they still didn’t show up, so we cancelled our order and went to Rouses. Whoever staffs that dept is a joke.
Not a Super Center but a nice size neighborhood supermarket with nice prices for the basics and beer, wine & liquor sold at very good prices, better than many other outlets. Worth a visit, parking maybe one drawback as nit huge, serving other businesses in that small mall.
Shelves are always empty even frozen food area. Most of the employees are not friendly. Nothing has changed since I posted this several months ago
This Neighborhood Walmart is going down the tubes. The cashiers (probably not all) are getting pretty nasty, ghetto and aggresive. Openly complaining about customers. Acting like you are bothering them at checkout. Customer service nonexistent. I would have been fired for what I’ve watched them do and their nasty attitude.
