Food and service are always good, however, when I made the reservations, I was asked if it was for a special occasion, which I replied yes, A birthday. It was not acknowledged at all. We brought in our own cake which was kept at the check-in counter until needed. It was brought to us when we asked for it, but needed to ask for plates, forks, and a knife to cut it. We thought they could have been more proactive in that department.
I had the “fork and knife” ribs. Dang!!! SUPER delicious!
We came here for dinner and it was packed. The host checked us in for our reservation and continued to give updates on our table. In the meantime, we grabbed drinks at the bar. The bar staff is welcoming and helpful. I ordered an Aperol Spritz and was disappointed. It was mostly soda water, maybe a splash of champagne, it was barely orange and tasted more like a LaCroix. Our table was soon and we able to order quickly. The wait team was great and checked in with us at the perfect times. We started with new drinks. I had an old fashioned and my husband had another beer. My old fashioned was muddled at the bottom and then all sugar. Overall, I would skip mixed drinks as they are not made correctly. We then ordered our dinner. I had the burger and my husband ordered fish and chips. Both these were great selections. Loved the crispy skinny fries that came with both of our entrees. We would definitely come back I will just stick with beer or wine.
Excellent food and service. The French dip is by far the best I've ever had. My wife had had the salmon salad and loved it. She appreciated having the salmon next to the salad rather than on top. Cozy interior and very nice patio. Phenomenal dessert, too. Great experience!
Overpriced and bland Caesar salad.
