Very Nasty restaurant ! No hot water The coffee pots are filthy. Employee nasty !! Food burned And manger outside smoking the whole time
Floors were dirty and the music volume was unbearable
Young employees at # 2446 acted like they're at a house party. Talking loud and laughing. Talking about "I was drunk" etc. Very bad work etiquette. So loud ( music too) I had to shout at my table companion. Won't be returning to that location. Management should be teaching these youngsters how to act right. Food was good. Service was good.
Ask for the manager do not respond. There was an employee cleaning the floor while I ate my meal never will eat there again.
Keeps going downhill & needs better staff. They just don't care & why should they. After all they get charged for a meal a day by Waffle House even if they don't eat. The food has gotten greasier over the years. They've changed the waffle recipe several times & the thickness of the waffle. Where I'm at the staff argues most of the time. It just not a fun place anymore. Sad really I grew up eating here. I took my kids when they were little. But I feel like I'll be going back much. Dietary restrictions: There are none. They have no restrictions for food allergies. No gluten free options and no dairy free options.
Where is a huddle house when you need one? Huddle house really needs to expand to fill in the gaps with waffle houses. Horrible service. I used to be able to call into my local waffle house to do a pick up. It used to be so Simple and easy. Now Waffle house has put up barriers for doing call-in orders. Now, you can’t call in a pick up order, you have to go on their website. Which is fine if the website weren’t so horribly designed that it makes it impossible to do a pick up order. The Waffle House website doesn’t identify the address I manually typed in to do the pick up order.. So, not only does waffle House make it Impossible to call in an order. They also make it impossible to find the location on their website that you want to order from. So, no call and pickups and no Internet pick ups no pick ups at all. They don’t wanna do any pick ups. GO TO HUDDLE HOUSE!
I wanted an order to go. NO LONGER AVAILABLE! You HAVE to order on line. Not happy at all! Very little ability to customize your food. If I'm paying my hard earned, I expect to have it like I want. I have never liked burnt bacon. Tonight I could not change the bacon. Corporate have even removed the phones! If someone had to call 911, they would have to use their own phone. Stop this on line ordering!!!!!!
I went into the waffle House on highway 64 Hendersonville North Carolina. I asked for a cup of coffee and a waffle. The woman is from New York. I asked her. She referred it to another waitress. No cream. Didn't ask. Then the woman from New York started complaining about me. Nobody likes me. I had a bad reputation at Waffle House. She said I was a nasty person. To get out and leave. Don't come back ever we don't want to see your face in here. I ordered before this other man and he got his food promptly. It was just a waffle. I waited and waited I said just cancel the order. It was not crowded. Four people in the restaurant including myself. Probably the worst experience of my life.
I am VERY upset with treatment my husband and I just received in Covington KY. They were understandably busy when we arrived around 12:30pm. We was told to wait by register until our table was ready. We patently waited, after 20 minutes another couple came in and they promptly sat at the table we was told to wait for. The kicker was the tone I got when I ask why I had to wait 20 minutes and they walk in and get our table.. I was told to wait for next table...another 20 minutes.. to be so unkind and dismissive. My time is just as important.. the rudeness
Please understand while reading this that I do love Waffle House. Wafflehouse carries itself as an icon of the South because the service and the food is GOOD. So this review and rating is intended as constructive critical feedback, not as a complaint. If there is any one area that Covid had impacted the food industry, it was in the prevalence of take out orders. With the pandemic now in our hindsight, high rates of take out orders remain. Where there is market demand for a service, any good business will lean into that demand. I do not believe that Waffle House has done that. When you made the decision to start charging service fees for take out orders, it was disappointing but understandable. After all, your take out boxes are good quality and border on what could be called Tupperware. I also understand that half of that service charge goes as a tip to the waitstaff. Also a good way to make sure they are compensated. However, from the patron's perspective, it does not resonate well, especially for those like myself who tipped for to go orders anyway. I would rather see a company choose to price the menu appropriately to cover services for everyone rather than adding charges for 5 star service. If your waitstaff is not making enough from doing their job that you have to add service fees, then I believe they and the customer would benefit more from giving them a pay raise. While I was not impressed by this decision, I was further disappointed today to find that Wafflehouse is no longer accepting phone orders. Many of your locations service small towns where drivers face longer commutes, like myself. Many of my decisions on where to eat are made on the road. I cannot stop to place online orders. I believe many of your customers are in the same situation. Please take this perspective into consideration when reviewing the next quarter. When it feels like significant portion of your business is being dissuaded from ordering, it is bound to reflect in your numbers. Please make the right decisions.
