Walked in, greeted promptly and found a table. After placing our order, I realized there was only 1 employee in the store (server). The cook would come in after the server started cooking the order . The cook (Brandon) was going outside to his car to smoke between orders. He was leaving the server inside to take orders, bus tables and get orders started by himself. To sum up my review, our server, was excellent but overwhelmed by his cook not doing his job. We visited on 2/3/24 between 6&7 p.m. if you want to check your schedule. Please thank your server for good service and reprimand your cook for being lazy.
ASK FOR T.J. While I'm all about being patient with new people, our waitress Lauren was not quite ready for prime time. Not only did my wife and I have to explain our order to her, the cook had to ask us if she called it out correctly. Sadly, she did not. To make matters worse, she begin working an order of ten people while simultaneously trying to answer questions from the cook about our order. Thankfully, she was working with another server named T.J., who did his best to help her get things right. Still, there's only so much you can do to help someone ill -equipped to handle the task at hand. Compounding the situation was the fact that the cook was new as well, which meant that the initial attempt at our order wasn't on point. However, T.J. stepped in again to get things right. He did all of this while working his own customers, at the same time. He did this, all while Lauren took a seat to figure out just what the party of ten had ordered, so that she could give the order to the cook. This effort went south as well, with several recalls, and again, T.J. to the rescue. Needless to say, when we were ready to leave, we thanked the person who actually took care of us - T.J.
