The food here is amazing! Can't wait to go back and try some more off the menu. Plenty to choose from too. The flavor from each item was spot on. Worth the price. They even gave us a free dessert and 2 shots for our anniversary.
Vora is an Italian French Mediterranean restaurant in the College Hill area. Start off with the French 75, wine, or signature cocktails. The portions are amazing..you'll get a second meal from them. My first visit I had the Osso Bucco (pork shank) along with garlic rosemary mashed potatoes. I have Osso Bucco all over the world and this one ranks once of the best in flavor. Second visit I had the Gnocchi Fritti (lightly floured then fried crispy) and experienced a new way to eat Gnocchi but I had the chef place the four cheese sauce on top instead of the wild mushroom pesto..I"ll do that next time. Try the flamed Caesar salad and fried calamari. Great service and modern restaurant feel. Parisian Chicken was so good. Parisian Chicken, Philo wrapped chicken breast with Capicola ham, beurre blanc sauce and grilled vegetables. So good…I want to make this. Try the Paella. A great take on this Spanish dish. Lots of flavor. I like the salmon too because it’s not drenched in a cream salad ce but served on the side. It a horseradish cream sauce, along with rice pilaf and grilled asparagus.. Try the Grilled Cesar salad. Love the salmon tortellini.
We had the most amazing 25-year anniversary meal! The staff really went the extra mile to make our day special. The meal was excellent and then they served us a complimentary dessert and drink, which we weren't expecting. This was our first time here, but we will definitely be back. Shout out to our server Kayla...thank you for making our night special!
Food was amazing, our server Emily was wonderful and took great care of us ❤ will definitely be returning.
It's definitely a nice restaurant. Had to google practically everything on the menu because all the items had fancy ingredients I didn't know. The food was good, but nothing was mind-blowing for what we ordered. Would recommend making reservations. It was very busy on Saturday when I went.
The place is very nice. The service is great. The wait staff works hard to please you. It is not cheap. Just remember that. It is nice. The economy has forced so many restaurants to increase prices. That is a price that you must understand when going out to eat. Especially for seat down service. Just as you must tip your wait service, too. They get paid little. So, they must depend upon those tips to survive. It is only fair if you put yourself in their shoes. I honestly can't believe how some people can give a small tip. When they ran the wait service butt off. That is what you call. Being disrespectful 100%.
