Village Hotel Cheadle

Stayed in a club room. Spacious and comfortable. Highly recommended. The only problem is that there's no mirror in the bedroom. Therefore, you are unable to dry your hair(my wife's comment). The gym is spacious and well equipped, and the pool is large.

Unexpected poor experience of the village hotel in cheadle. Service and attitude of the staff was awful and evening meal was a shambles. I was overcharged and they couldn't care less. Such a shame as I've stayed at other locations many times with much better service levels.

We’ve stayed at the Cheadle Village a few times and always have a good stay, all the staff we’ve had contact with are helpful and friendly especially those on reception, the rooms are a good size, beds are very comfortable, showers are great and the complimentary shower gel smells amazing. Walkability: Easy walk into Cheadle village centre which has shops, pubs, eateries, coffee shops etc

Lovely hotel with fantastic facilities. A special mention to Rahai, Dan and Ella for making our stay so enjoyable, they really do understand the meaning of great customer service!! Not so good. Rooms dark and small. TV is set up for screen sharing but it doesn't allow it. Sky channels displayed but don't work. I assume you have to pay Rooms surface cleaned, but go a bit deeper and the dust and grime is there. The rooms are very warm which is great in winter but summer no. They do have Dyson fans which I assume are expensive. But the dust build up in them makes them to noisy to use when you try to sleep. There is no restaurant now so all food in the bar which was full and noisy. Good There were lovely person at the check in who helped me with setting up and parking registration and at breakfast to seat me Clean kettle and Tea, coffee milk etc Iron, ironing board, hair dryer in the room Breakfast, sausages, bacon and other food was nice. I felt good quality I can't help but feel Village hotels are changing to help survive the increasing costs of living but are reducing their customers expectations. 4/4/24 on last visit there were no fried or poached eggs. Slall room with a fitted top sheet that was to small and overused pillows. Star rating updated Nearby activities: The Kenilworth half a mile up the road has better food and beverage choice way lower than the Village. I always go there Safety: Anybody can walk in with no challenge, so I wonder about security.
