My favorite place ever

My husband and I have been wanting to try this restaurant since we moved to the Silver City neighborhood late last year. Tonight was the night and unfortunately, we were very disappointed. We decided to try the fried rice and pan fried dumplings because we LOVE fried rice and dumplings. It. Was. Bland. It was also watery? Although it didn’t look like mushy overcooked rice, it definitely tasted like mushy overcooked rice. The chicken was HARD, almost rubbery and flavorless. I was hoping for at least decently fried rice and tender chicken, even if I had to season it myself. The fried dumplings were just okay. Nothing really special about them, but they were the only good part of the meal.

This is my boyfriend’s favorite place to get pho in Milwaukee; 1) for the flavor and 2) for the price. He orders out from here sometimes once a week. I love their pho, as well as all of their curry options. The ambience is lacking, but you’re coming for the food and flavor, not the atmosphere. The workers are always very kind and have come to know my boyfriend by name! We love this spot!
