First time here and recommend it! Food was so delicious and flavorful. We had Carne asada fries and Flight of pancakes and Purple rain smoothie. Ambiance was welcoming and tranquil. Area was very clean and taken care of. Waitress was kind and knowledgeable of the menu.
Love this place so much! The food is delicious, beautiful atmosphere and the staff if so friendly! In terms of specifics, we loved the carne asada fries! We really liked the chk’n parm sub but would just recommend using a different vegan mozzarella cheese brand for the sub like miyokos. The kale Caesar salad was just okay as the dressing didn’t taste much like a vegan Caesar dressing and we think it would be worth using a different vegan parm brand like violife.
Badass place and owner. My server let me customize my entire order to allow me to try all things breakfast. The server ended up being the owner. She had no reason to be waiting tables as she had other servers on the floor. BUT not only does she provide excellent service, she is rhe mastermine behind all the recipes. If I could give her and restaurant more stars, I would. Amazing all around.
All of their food is great (and homemade)! Their happy hour is an especially great deal.
I appreciate all vegan establishments. We are doing excellent work. Vegan Avenue's food is great. Only feedback I would give is being a little faster at taking orders and acknowledging customers earlier on. On my last visit, I waited about 15mins before my order was placed. In the background, I could see staff taking things to their car, taking out the trash, talking to each. I expected a little better. Thanks,
I would die on a cross like Jesus Christ for everyone to experience the gift of their honey butter chicken biscuits. 10/10 all around. Especially proud that they offer a variety of zero proof alcohol options!! Vegetarian options: All! Dietary restrictions: Everything is gluten free, dairy free, and plant based! Vegan friendly
I stopped here on a road trip and was excited to find an all vegan restaurant. It was a little pricey, but the food was excellent. I just wish they were a bit more environmentally friendly. I started with a cookies and cream milkshake. It was very good. I can’t remember the last time I had a vegan milkshake. I also had the Cheezy Mushroom Burger with sweet potato fries, since they were out of regular fries. The burger was amazing and they nailed the sweet potato fries as well. For sustainability... The milkshake came in a plastic container with a big plastic straw. There were also two ketchup packets on my plate when I was served. I get that it’s a fast food place, but a bottle of ketchup would have been nice. For cost, the milkshake was $9, which felt steep. The burger was $17, but I’ve had more expensive vegan burgers that weren’t as good. There was a service charge of 4%, plus tax and a tip. It was $35 for a modest meal for one, so it adds up quick. Again, as a vegan restaurant, I wish they were more sustainable with the plastic and condiment packets, otherwise I enjoyed my food here.
first time eating here. the food was really good considering i rarely eat vegan. the service was a bit slow to start but improved. the reason for the 3 star review is the excessive 25% automatic gratuity for parties of 6 or more. 18% sure, 20% i can be talked into, but 25% is excessive and the menu prices aren't a bargain to begin with.
