Vecchitto's Italian Ice

The Vecchitto family has been serving and manufacturing Italian Ices and frozen desserts from this stand on 80 Hartford Avenue at Sound View Beach in Old Lyme since 1946. The store opens weekends only starting Memorial Day weekend until the end of June. The business then operates 7 days a week from noon to 9 until near the end of August. This store closes for the season on Labor Day. There are a few 30 minute free parking spaces in front of the store available for our customers.
