Like any red-blooded American human, I really love pizza. I'm not one of those who insists on a particular style, though, so I generally have a favorite of every style. However, I'm always going to have one particular place that comes to mind when I think "pizza", and it just so happens that Vaughn's, for the DFW area, is that place. It's nothing fancy -- classic, "New York style", I suppose, not trying to be anything pretentious... but man oh man, it just hits right, every time. They have a full menu, but I can't imagine coming here and not getting pizza. The service is always friendly and fast, the atmosphere is your classic old-school pizza joint, and the pizza is simple, pure, and outstanding. The ingredients are always fresh and tasty, the crust has juuuust the right balance of crisp, bite, and chew, the cook is always spot-on, and most importantly for me, the sauce tastes amazing. To paraphrase my favorite bearded Baptist, C.H. Spurgeon, "visit many good pizza joints, but live in Vaughn's". If you've never been, do yourself a favor and hit them up. If it's been a while, revisit.
Good pizza, nice little bar. Sad that I have to have a $1000 pocket computer to view the menu. Don't make me have to find the products you sell, provide me with a paper menu. It's easy, and should be standard for the service industry... This qr code only mentality is terrible. I am required to blindly trust that the qr code doesn't take me to a website that installs a virus, or tracks me via cookie. Terrible business practice... Fix it.
