VAS Rent a Bike

We rented two urban bikes that were spot on for the task. While the bus system here is excellent. If you want to run around Palma and get to know it from another perspective while having fun this is how I would do it. Surprised to see how capable the specialized hybrid bikes were. Some suspension in the handlebar. Supplied in perfect checked over condition. Book ahead, as renting bikes for touring the island is very popular. Their shop is amazing, they have a good selection of mountain and road bikes. Jorge the owner and Boni make the experience very easy, (as they both speak fluent English), but they also care that your trip goes well. I think they have another location in Alicante, if you are on the mainland.

The rented bikes were in perfect condition. Communication with the shop was without any problem. Helpful staff. I recommend.

Great bikes and great service. We needed the bikes to be delivered/collected to where we staying and the team at VAS were very helpful the whole time. The bikes were very good quality and we had a great time exploring the island.

Wir haben dort zwei Rennräder für 5 Tage ausgeliehen (Orbea Orca M35i & Cannondale Supersix Evo crb disc Ult Di2). Das Supersix Evo war absolut abgerockt und gefährlich zu fahren. Die Bremsen des Leihrades ließen sich bis zum Lenker durchziehen, in einigen Abfahrten ließ die Bremsleistung komplett nach und konnte nur durch pumpen wieder einigermaßen hergestellt werden. Vermutlich war die Bremse einfach nicht ordentlich entlüftet. Auch der sonstige Zustand war nur naja, tiefe Kratzer, ein knacken beim aufsitzen und ein krummer Lenker. Der Zustand des Orbea Orca M35i war sehr gut, hier gab es nichts zu beanstanden. Der Bringservice an das Hotel hat keinerlei bikefitting angeboten und war unter 5 min schon wieder vom Hof. In der Satteltasche des Supersix befand sich ein Rennradschlauch mit sehr kurzer Ventillänge, welcher nach einer Panne leider nicht benutzt werden konnte, da dieser nur wenige mm über die Felge hinaus ragte. Alles in allem waren wir definitiv nicht zufrieden mit der geboten Leistung. Die Mängel wurden bei Abholung natürlich angezeigt, leider ohne Reaktion.

Bicicleta nueva del trinque, bien ajustada, me pusieron mis propios pedales de potencia. Me la entregaron rápido y devolverla fue super sencillo. Un 10 en todo. Fantástico servicio.

Rented a bike from this store in April 2024. Bike was is great shape, well maintained and relatively new (Cannondale Supersix Evo 105 Di2). They had the bike ready with the seat height I sent over email in advance. I would recommend bringing your own helmet tough as the one I got from the store could be cleaner. Other than that I would go back to VAS in the future for rental as everything worked out perfectly

Group of 4 of us hired Cannondale supersix evo carbon bikes (with delivery) at a cost of €136 each for the duration of the hire. The bikes that were delivered were 3 supersix and 1 supersix 105. The 105 should have cost €17 less. I informed the delivery driver of the error but he told me that I needed to contact the shop directly. I contacted the shop several times through the message service but received no reply. €17 isn’t the end of the world I know - but you should get what you ordered - not a substitute and no explanation as to why. The bike was actually fine, but on the principal of them charging me for a more expensive bike with no offer of a refund for the difference and just expecting me to accept it - I won’t use them again.

I highly recommend VAS bike rental!! We rented for 10 days, the price was absolutely fair. Also the price for pick up and return is almost nothing. Even when my friend had an accident and i called them they came immidiately and picked up her bike within no time. It was an absolutely pleasure, we are very thankful! The bikes were in very great condition like they have never been used before! Thanks!!
