Hoagie was all bread...removed bottom part and folded it in half.crap portion for cheese and mest...forgot my daughter's chicken fingers, and had to drive back to grab them....they offered to reheat them, cause they were cold ...Go to WAWA....WAY BETTER

The sandwiches were decent. They use peanut oil in their fryer so with my allergies could not order half the items on the menu which was annoying makes no sense why they would not use oil every one could eat . There are also no signs notifying you that they use peanut oil so if you don’t remember to ask someone could get sick.

This place has sucked for years. Chapmans, Screpsis, any pizza place is better than this dump. They should close down.

Got for takeout: pierogi, cheese fries, a slice of pizza, and a large homeland Italian. Pizza was subpar (Elio's is better) and was just wrapped in plastic, which was bizarre. Pierogi was fine, but those are hard to mess up. Fries were well seasoned, but the cheese was pretty bland in comparison. The sandwich was terrible, lacking in thoughtful construction, overall volume of meat and quality vegetables. Next to no lettuce and no tomatoes. I was advised later that they do not offer tomatoes on it and they split the roll for that specific sandwich all the way through. Not sure why because all that does is amplify the difficulty in eating it. Suffice it to say that the whole thing fell apart until I found the magical ingredient: hair from the young girl that made it! I couldn't throw it away fast enough. Waste of money and I will not be returning.

Been going here my whole life. 50+ years. The go to sandwich shop in Reading. Others may have come and gone, there's a reason V&S is still around.

Terrible cheesesteak. Sandwich has no meat in it, all bread. Won't go here again. Not worth the money.

One of my favorite spots I was thinking getting this cheesesteak for a few day and it was so good I wanted to go back and getting another

Normally I go to v&s for a good Italian sandwich. What a disappointment the sandwich was tasteless no oregano no salt I also got a cheese steak it was cold and had to look for the cheese I also got pizza slices what a disappointment I will never go back there

If you go through Reading stop in and grab something. Great food, good people, and no compaints here!

This is the only place that actually makes my food exactly how I like it and they do it with a smile. I have never once had a complaint with my food! I am a very fussy eater so I like my hot sandwiches made a certain way, they don't even look at me funny when I start telling them my order. And the fries, Ive never had fries as good as these! I must get fries with every single order! Food is made fresh to order every time. If I order a head, I never have to wait when I pull up. I love this place and recommend them to everyone!
