Ummm, wow... I LOVE hidden gem restaurants, and this place is a hidden gem. Unassuming from the outside, the dining room opens into a large room with quaintly matched tables and chairs, brightly-colored vases, and rustic art on the walls. It feels like home... and the way Donna and Joe treated us was just like family. The lunch was incredible. The aptly-named 'crack sauce' delivered, a warm and spicy compliment to perfectly fried chicken. The apple slaw cooled things down just right. This will be our spot every time works brings us back to Kingston. Cheers! Kid-friendliness: The space and the staff are both conducive to children and animals.
The food was great, and so was the service. I will definitely go back.
Great chicken and Mac and cheese dishes.
So I’ve been wanting to try this spot for a while. There are two locations we decided to go to the original location. Nice slow Sunday morning decided to go out with the wife for breakfast. I must say the French toast is to die for my wife ordered the French toast plain. You can get it with lots of different options she’s not really into that. I decided to order the lip smacker I must say I’ve never had a breakfast sandwich with French toast so late and fluffy that I did actually use the syrup for this is a must try breakfast/brunch spot. I will have to go back and try the lunch food. restaurant is nice and clean with a nice theme to it. Service was excellent.
Get the chicken, gravy, and biscuits. There are sausage bits in the gravy that are amazing.
The good: Our server was top notch. The just ok: I had the garlic parm boneless wings, and onion rings. The wings were decent, but the onion rings were cold, and so greasy that I could have changed the oil in my car. The horrible: dirty dishes on tables when we came in, and same dishes still there upon departure. The restaurant was not busy.
Crack and Mac to die for!. Such a cute place, too & friendly staff.
