Love the ice cream and employees

Fast and friendly service. Needs a deep clean.

Today is Thanksgiving 2023. In an attempt to have a fun Thanksgiving memory I took my 5 year old out to find donuts and decided to go to UDF because he loves all the sports donuts. We proceeded to pick out 6 donuts for our family at around $8.49 (according to the sign). I realized once we got there I forgot my debit card and only had $12 cash so it would have worked out perfectly. We took our time picking out each person's individual donut and we were so excited. When we go to check out the total came to $17.80. I told the very rude lady working what the sign stated. She said well the specialty donuts are more. I told her I didn't have enough to cover that because I only had cash. I asked if she wouldn't mind selling them to me at the $8 price since it was a mistake and they were 1 day old donuts anyway. She said no. My son was so confused and sad at how the lady was treating us. I only ended up purchasing the one donut for my son because i was so embarrassed. I said are you just going to throw them away and she said yup, turned to her coworker and said, "trash em". How sad and belittling in front of all those people. Just a mom and her little kid being made to feel worthless. It looks like, according to the other reviews on this page, this store has a horrible problem with customer service. I would advise retraining your employees and maybe teach them to have a little compassion in situations like this. This was a really bad look for UDF and made it feel as though you are a very heartless company. I've worked in customer service for years so I understand being upset to work on holidays but this was just plain cruel.

Shakes are great employees stand around don't help when busy and hate their lives......

Lady at front counter started screaming a a dude for asking a question about the ATM. WTH..
