Food was fine. It was mostly basic bar fair. Fish and chips was nothing special. It was what you would expect in basic bar fair. Tartar sauce was great. Service was great and so was the atmosphere.
Great venue for a group of friends
Very good food. The atmosphere is fun.
My steak was cooked perfectly. One of the best dinners I've had in town in a long time. 💪💪
The experience was ok. I was looking for a blues vibe. Temped lights, comfy chairs, fine cuisine etc...that was not it. But we enjoyed the experience anyway!
Great local restaurant/bar. Located right by the waterfront, easy walk to enjoy their tasty food or great drinks.
Great late night service!
We are in a pleasant colonial atmosphere with traditional tavern architecture, great service and excellent food and drink.
Tim made THE best Old Fashioned I've ever had. 10/10, would recommend. I wish there was a TV above the taps though, that's the only bar upgrade I'd suggest!!
We came for brunch, and let me tell you—it exceeded all expectations. Our server, Eric, was absolutely brilliant, even if he happened to be a Buffalo fan (we’ll let that slide).
I started with the Breakfast Skillet, a warm medley of sautéed potatoes, peppers, onions, and chorizo, topped with perfectly cooked over-easy eggs. The flavors melded together beautifully, but I have to admit, it left me wanting more—it felt like an appetizer, so I did what any food lover would do and ordered the French Toast. And oh my goodness, OMG barely begins to cover it. Imagine thick slices of bread soaked in rich egg batter, crisp on the outside and meltingly soft on the inside, topped with cinnamon, powdered sugar, whipped cream, fruit, syrup, and, of course, a side of crispy bacon. Each bite was a sweet, decadent dance of flavors.
My dining companion opted for the Country Omelet, packed with tasso ham, andouille sausage, cheddar cheese, onions, and peppers, and served with home fries that had their own mix of onions and peppers. Abi couldn’t stop raving about it—he swears it’s one of the best omelets he’s ever had.
As an iced tea enthusiast, I warned Eric early on, and he didn’t disappoint—my glass stayed full. My mate enjoyed their Mimosas, finishing off the morning with a bold Irish Coffee.
The atmosphere? Cozy yet vibrant, perfect for a laid-back brunch. Next time, we're definitely checking out the whiskey bar. If you're in the area, I can’t recommend this place enough. I’ll definitely be back for those Sunday brunches!
The atmosphere of Union Street takes you back to earlier times. We made reservations for a Sunday brunch but it wasn't terribly busy and you could probably walk in and get seated pretty quickly. Service was impeccable and the drinks were good. Will definitely go back.
Cute restaurant in Old Alexandria. Vibes were quiet at 5 in the afternoon. Loved everything I ate!
Amazing service, Tim at the bar is the best. I wish they had a TV above the taps to watch some games. Will be back!
One of my favorite places to eat in Old Town. A great brunch menu and dinner menu. Excellent food, service, and atmosphere with a casual flair.
