Uncle Julio's Reston

We have been coming to uncle julios since it was called Rio Grande. Back then the food was amazing. Ever since COVID everything has changed. Their food was different. Just yesterday we went for dinner and this time everything was completely different. Tortillas are not as fluffy, salsa appetizer was redish and super garlicky, it used to be a cilantro kick. The carne assada that used to be the gem was not on point. Did they get sold since savage burrito is part of them now. Recipes seem so off from before. The only thing that changed for the better was the cajita (fried ice cream) it was amazing!!

Waiting for a table took some time, But it was Friday with friends and had a really good time food was great.

I had such a fantastic time for my birthday. Emanuel made our day out extra special. Excellent service, ambiance, food pretty good, comfortable and welcoming space. Management was nice and our service was exemplary! Will be back. Thanks Emanuel!

I was in town visiting my sister and she recommended we have lunch at this Mexican restaurant. Our server, Gustavo, was very efficient and brought us chips and salsa right away. I ordered a shrimp and crab poblano which was delicious. My sister and her husband shared fajitas and they were happy with their meal. My wife thought her chicken tortilla bowl was delicious. The only hiccup was waiting for the tortillas to come out after the meals were served. The atmosphere seemed very nice and they have a cool looking bar which I might check out some night. Definitely recommend!

One of the best places to stop to enjoy great food with family or friends. I recommend this place 100%. Stake tacos. Chicken tacos. Stake bowl. Everything was delicious . Many thanks guys for the great service you have provided.
