Delish vegan burgers!!

We love this place! We always have incredible food here, but last weekend we had truly above-and-beyond service as well. Marianne (I'm sorry if I spelled that wrong) never stopped working! When we arrived, she was cleaning the outdoor area, then she came over and explained the entire menu to us and made recommendations, took our order and was super friendly, and came to check on us to make sure everything was right. This is a counter-service type place, so to have an employee take the initiative to be that helpful was really impressive. We had an excellent visit last weekend, and we can't wait to come back! On top of that, the food was amazing, as always. It's great to be able to visit a restaurant and know everything on the menu is vegan :)

When they first opened everything was awesome my daughter and I would visit at least once a month the last few times the food just wasn't as good as it was before plus they took some of our favorite items off the menu so I definitely will not be back it's just not worth what you pay for the food. I think they are too focused on making the place nice and they're putting way too much money into that instead of concentrating on the food itself and I'm sad because it was one of my favorite places to eat.

I was visiting the Henry Ford museum before heading to the airport after a few days in downtown Detroit where the food was fantastic and veg options were so easy to find. The lines for food were long and options very limited in the museum so a young cashier suggested I walk (with my suitcase) to Michigan Ave. I easily saw the Unburger and Crossed the street hoping it meant plant-based. I walked in and was SO happy! The whole menu was vegan! I ordered the Black bean burger as I am not a fan of meat in general. The cashier recommended the hippie hash as a side and they even had kombucha on tap! The food was delicious and the hash had brussel sprouts in the red potatoes, something new I was told. It was delicious. The best thing about this restaurant is that you can take your carnivore friends as the plant based options taste like other fast food restaurants. I didn't try it but others in the restaurant seemed very happy with it, including the 6 year old boy next to me. This restaurant was so good it was with a half mile walk with a suitcase. I wish we had something like it in Phoenix. So if you are nearby you should absolutely go and get an Unburger!
