The couple are very social and friendly. I enjoyed egusi and fufu for the first time. Delicious food and beautiful restaurant. I’ll be back.

Wow! My husband and I show up at Ultra Kitchen, our first time, at about 20 minutes to closing very apologic because we knew it was close to closing time and we were met with smiles and a greeting that made us feel as if they had all the time in the world to seat us and feed us. Closing time was definitely not an issue. We were going to take it home and assured the owners that we wouldn't be long and we were invited to sit and enjoy. In the end, after having a long day at work we did decide to take our meal home. What impressed me was that I was not made to feel as though my presence, so close to closing time, was an annoyance. Just the opposite. My presence was happily received!! If that were not enough, the food was ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS AND FLAVORFUL!!! It did not disappoint. Now I wish I had stayed so the owners could see my husband and I devour our meals. The goat meat was succulent! The egusi soup put a smile on my husband's face. Wow! Dewogwus will definitely be back!!!

Best Nigerian restaurant in town!

My wife and I recently dined at Ultra Kitchen Restaurant and Catering, and we were blown away by the experience. From the moment we stepped in, we were immersed in the true essence of Nigerian opulence. The restaurant was neat and the atmosphere exuded warmth and authenticity. The highlight of our meal was undoubtedly the food. Every dish was freshly made to order, bursting with authentic Nigerian flavors. As an appetizer, we couldn't resist trying the suya, and it did not disappoint. The flavors were bold and tantalizing, setting the perfect tone for the rest of our meal. I savored the Jollof rice with goat meat (it could have been more tender but absolutely delicious overall) and fried plantains, while my wife indulged in the Egusi with pounded yam. Each bite transported us to the heart of Nigeria. On another occasion, I had the pleasure of trying their goat meat pepper soup, and it was nothing short of phenomenal. It truly felt like a taste of home, comforting and satisfying in every way. But what truly set Ultra Kitchen apart was the hospitality of the owners. They welcomed us like family, ensuring that we felt right at home from the moment we walked in. Their warmth and genuine care for their guests made our dining experience truly unforgettable. Overall, Ultra Kitchen Restaurant and Catering exceeded our expectations in every aspect. From the impeccable cleanliness to the authentic flavors, and the welcoming hospitality of the owners, it's clear that they take pride in delivering an exceptional dining experience. We can't wait to return to San Antonio for more of their delicious Nigerian comfort meals. Highly recommended if you’re ever in the area! Kid-friendliness: The staff were incredibly patient and attentive, ensuring our kids felt comfortable throughout the meal. It made for a wonderful family dining experience.

The food is amazing. I usually order Egusi with pounded yam. It has just the right spice and the perfect portion. Their customer service is phenomenal. I absolutely adore this spot. If you are looking for a Nigerian Restaurant in San Antonio, TX don’t look any further this is it.

I ordered the egusi soup with fufu, everything was amazing including the owners who were super friendly.The egusi soup was so nutty and perfectly spiced and the overall experience was amazing. 10/10 would recommend

Totally loved this place! I was in town for my husband's Airforce BMT graduation and since he hasn't eaten eba and soup for weeks we looked for a good place but Ultra kitchen turned out to be perfect! The service, ambience, food was so great that we went back the 2nd day. Sad, I can't leave a 6 stars. It's an 11/10 for me

Really delicious and authentic

I’ve ordered food from them on multiple occasions and the taste and quality hasn’t deteriorated and the customer service is top notch! They even added some freebies and were so patient and understanding of my demands. Highly recommend!!
