Food was delicious, Service was superb, but place was very noisy and tables are too close together. Our table was bumped by servers at least two times, once almost spilling our drinks.
Food was good. Server was attentive. The white pizza was delicious.
Great food & great people.
The trout is amazing, and the cook is equally so. If you are overwhelmed by the options of places to eat in Asheville, I can tell you, this one is worth a visit.
Ordered sausage and pepperoni pizza and Carolina Mountain Trout. Everything was fantastic!!! Efficient and friendly service.
Food was fine, unfortunately the service was one of the worst we have ever had. They forgot half our food (no apology) and were not friendly. Only good part is that it is dog friendly. Wouldn’t go back unless it was just for my dog to eat.
My wife and I enjoyed our meal for lunch here in Ashville at the Twisted Laurel on a rainy day. The food tasted great, but it was not anything particularly exceptional to write home about. They seemed busy/short staffed, but also not really at the same time. I asked a couple of questions about menu items to try and get a sense of what menu choices were the "Go-To's" here, but the only answers I got were "it's just a burger", "it's just a philly cheesesteak", and "it's just a gyro". Hey, I get it. Maybe they are simple seeming menu items, but after those responses, I thought to myself, why I am I here for just a burger? Nothing special, nothing unique, but hey, the Gryo still tasted like a gyro, and that is a win. My wife did enjoy the open-faced Turkey bacon tomato sandwich as well, so I would suggest giving that a try if you visit since it was fairly unique if you are looking for that too. Parking: Nearby street paid parking or paid lots. Street parking seems to be the closest option.
