Service was very slow. But the food was fantastic.
Nope. Just didn't do it. Service errors, poor timing, stand off'ish hostess. Bloody's stupid spicy - and I ordered the not so spicy. Next time....
I love this place so much!! I've been here several times for brunch and never disappointed me. The lavanda and blackberry mimosa are fantastic, the service is excellent as well, I highly recommend, make a reservation because it is always busy
Tupelo Honey Southern Kitchen never disappoints me. The Arlington location is as delightful as the Raleigh location. Good food and good service. Join the VIP club for advanced specials.
Had the summer berry salad (added salmon) and it was fantastic, the balsamic vinaigrette is better than Cavas and the salmon was cooked perfectly, had a nice crust on the outside but still juicy in the center. I would’ve given 5 starts however couples came in after me and received their food first (mind you I ordered a salad) and the bartender tried to upcharge me for my drink in a very sneaky fashion; she gave me a paper bill and the itemization didn’t have a charge next to one item but when scanned the barcode to pay online I saw I was charge an extra $3 for this item. Not major but that was enough right there. Overall, I still enjoyed myself I just wouldn’t sit at the bar again and please double check your bill.
Came on Easter Sunday and was seated immediately as a party of 2. Waitress came over about 10 min later, food came out a solid 50 minutes later. We ordered the smothered chicken thighs and spicy chicken sandwich, both with sides of Brussels sprouts and also a chicken tortilla soup. Both fried chicken dishes had no flavor and were overcooked/hard and semi-cold. We added salt and pepper to make it edible. The Brussels sprouts were awful. Inedible so we changed it for fries (also had to add salt and pepper) and side salad. The best and only good part of the meal were the virgin bloody Mary’s. Those were very good, but overall we can’t believe this place is currently rated a 4.2.
It's a vibe as soon as you walk through the door. Customer service was excellent and our food was delicious. Everyone from the host, greeter, waiter, and manager were so engaging and made sure our first time experience was memorable. I'd recommend the lavender lemonade, and the Ol Skool Breakfast bowl. I drove more than 1 hr to the spot and it was well worth the drive! I'll be back soon! Parking: It's kind of tight down there with some construction going on.
