We stood waiting for someone to come and take us to a table for a few minutes, we walked into the restaurant and people were just hanging around the other end of it talking to each other. Someone saw us and finally came up and sat us at a table right in the middle of a high traffic pattern. They were several other tables available that were not where every single person that was leaving the restaurant or passive, so any other table open would have been nice. Our server was sweet but she didn't seem very experienced. I have food allergies and it felt like everybody in the restaurant had to come and talk to me about. I eat out in public regularly. They are serious but the restaurant doesn't have to stop business to take care of me. The food we got was not that great either. It was our first time eating there and we might try it again, but it was not a good experience.

Jan 2024: First off, our hostess was also our waitress which was absolutely delightful. The nachos and fish were tasty. That being said, I have no idea how they stay in business. Our party of 2 were literally (not figuratively) the only customers in the restaurant at 4:30PM on a Wednesday evening. And literally, no other customer came into the building the entire time from when we entered the building until we left. Rice was not cooked correctly, the sandwich bread was tough and chewy, the fries were lackluster, and the appetizer was not what we expected given that we asked what exactly was in it given our dietary restrictions. (P.S. - all food contents and calorie information are not listed on their menus despite a mandatory 2018 FDA law that includes South Carolina.) Their outdoor marquee outside has letters burnt out indicating they didn't have the money to fix it. The restaurant was relatively clean, the dinner rush should have at least started by the time we left and yet no one had entered the building, and against our better judgement we went inside ignoring all of the obvious signs walking into the building. A mistake we won't make again. They get 2 stars instead of 1 because our hostess / waitress was wonderful and the fish and nachos were great. Dietary restrictions: All ingredients (which do include allergens) and calories are not listed on their menus.

We had dinner at Tuckers tonight. I had the chicken finger salad and my husband had a ribeye special. The food and service could not have been any better. ( Tasha, our server was wonderful). We have been there for years and have always enjoyed every bite. The burgers are huge, fried shrimp, & prime rib are favorites too. Never a wait!

Stopped by here for lunch one day. After waiting at the door we started to leave and were finally recognized by employee. We both ordered a hamburger which took forever to get. After we were done with our meal, it took forever to get the checks. Was just not impressed at all with this restaurant. I doubt very seriously that I will be back.

My recent dining experience at this restaurant was a rollercoaster of highs and lows that left me with mixed feelings. The first impression was relatively positive, with a charming albeit slightly outdated decor setting the scene. However, the cleanliness of the dining area was a major letdown. Dirty plates and glasses, old and heavily used silverware, and walls splattered with mysterious substances certainly dampened the initial appeal. The booth and surrounding areas were dusty and neglected, giving the impression of poor upkeep. On a positive note, the crab/shrimp dip was a standout, bursting with flavor, and the Caesar salad was delightful. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for my husband's Old Fashioned, which he described as "undrinkable." The replacement was forced upon us in a rather aggressive manner, leaving a sour taste in our mouths. The chicken fingers, ordered for my son, were shockingly hard and almost inedible, resembling more of a chicken jerky than a tender dish. Despite expressing our dissatisfaction, the management's response was dismissive, claiming the dish appeared tender, which did not align with our experience. The lack of communication regarding bacon bits in the shrimp and grits, coupled with an undercooked steak, further added to the disappointment. The management's refusal to remove the undrinkable drink from the bill, despite our explicit dissatisfaction and refusal, left a lasting negative impression. While our waiter exhibited friendliness and courtesy, the overall experience was marred by interactions with the management and cleanliness level. I sincerely hope the establishment takes this feedback to heart and makes improvements for a more consistent and enjoyable dining experience for future patrons.

Our waitress was Gwen. We were greeted with a smile and a sincere desire to make us happy with good service. and she delivered! We later spoke with the manager, Kim, who was not only a pleasure with whom to speak, but she also was as nice as could be. Overall, this was a very nice experience! Parking: We parked less than 50 feet from the main entrance.
