On the very busy street opp Plaza cinema you will find this awesome pure vegetarian eatery, guess it's been operating since 1965. Be prepared to wait for your turn as the place is always crowded but it's worth the wait as the food won't disappoint you. It's an air-conditioned very neat and spacious place which serves authentic maharashtrian vegetarian cuisine with excellent quick service. It's on the main road so parking is an issue.

We ordered food from a hotel called Trupti hotel near plaza cinema in Dadar, butter naan, paneer kadhai and dal khichdi from which the dal khichdi you sent was very thin like buttermilk curry, we love such nice hotel. Didn't expect such low quantity and low quality from Trupti Hotel Dadar, didn't think you cheated the customer, you hurt the customer.

Great place for authentic marathi dishes.

It's myself all time favorite for maharashtrian food. My personal favorite dish over here is bhajani che vade , batate vade and ukdicha modak. Must visit. I don't recommend amras puri, uttapa as there were not as per my expectation.

Day by day quality of food is deteriorating and at times its unhygienic also. Last week have taken dinner and the next day I fell ill.

While the food impressed, the bustling atmosphere meant waiting outside for a table was necessary. Additionally, the practice of sharing tables with strangers may detract from the dining experience.
