Tropical Smoothie Cafe

I only have one word to say, Arielle!! She is amazing, the store, the attitudes, the food has been top-tier since she has been there. Arielle goes above and beyond to make sure the customers are satisfied! I don’t know where you all found Arielle at, but you all need to clone about 10 more of her! I cannot say enough about her, but I will say that she has changed the store around, I haven’t gone on second shift, but I do know, first shift where she is when I order from there, never misses! Today I received my order with a personalized message “Have a great day, Arielle”. She doesn’t know it, but she definitely made my day better! Keep up the great work, Arielle, and keep up the great work team!

I visited this location this evening and the cashier Serenity had a very welcoming spirit. She was there a couple weeks ago when I came. She is always so pleasant and nice. She made sure I signed up to be loyalty member last time and this time she reminded me to scan for my points. Kudos Serenity!

The worst service, lack of accuracy in food

SLOW!!! Six people waiting for smoothie and no sense of urgency. Took over 15 minutes to get our order. Music way too loud!! People who came in well after us got there before us. Better service at the DMV

The workers at this location are extremely high and/or stupid and have no idea what’s going on. I placed an online order, arrived 10 minutes past time for it to be ready. It was a smoothie and quesidilla. They brought the smoothie out, but not the food, and I told them there was food with it as well. The worker that brought it out said “it will be out soon”. I waited an additional 10 minutes and watched people that had ordered after me receive their orders. I walked back up to the counter and asked if they knew anything about my food. The worker I had spoken to previously had completely forgotten about me and acted confused because he thought the smoothie was all of my order (even though I told him otherwise and he acknowledged me at that time, he forgot a conversation he had 10 minutes ago). Then, I watched them try to find the order, because none of them had kept the receipts in order or updated the screen properly. I had to show them on my app where I had ordered food because they couldn’t seem to find a record of it. Then they literally just started walking circles around each other looking confused and grabbing random orders. Eventually, we found the order, which had been sitting already done for 20 minutes on the counter in plain sight. However, there was no receipt or any way to identify the order, hence the confusion. The line was not very long but the store was chaotic and people were waiting 20 minutes or more for very simple orders due to the complete lack of organization in this store.

My experience was wonderful as soon as I walked through the door. Hubby and I were greeted with a huge smile and Welcome by Ariel. The vibe is very positive and welcoming and I love the music too. Ariel and I had a warm and positive conversation and in the short time I was there, I felt we connected. It may not be much to you but for me it was the highlight of my day. I just wish that I wasn’t charged extra which, was only.50 per item but, I am allergic to 3 of the ingredients and was replaced by 3 other. But overall I highly recommend. And no I don’t know any of the ladies at this location and first time there. Thank you everyone that was involved in taking our order ( can’t remember all the names)and we will be returning as soon as I return to Charlotte 😊

Worst customer service ever. I ordered the kale slaw and when I got home it looked as though someone had eaten half of my slaw. I will never visit this location again.

I have given this location quite a few tries and for whatever reason if I order online, 90% of the time it never gets completed and I have to wait an extra 30minutes to get a flatbread. Super unprofessional staff most of the time who you can tell do not like their job which is a reflection of the owner and management. Sorry but ya’ll got to get it together here, it’s a mess.

I came here to get a smoothie and had a very pleasant experience. The cashier Imani was very welcoming, patient, and kind. She helped me join the rewards programs and told me about all the perks of coming to tropical smoothie cafe. Her customer service was amazing and I will be back because of her. Thank you Imani and keep being you!!!!

Horrible customer service, very rude. Smoothies are not mixed well ever, they are very slow. Been here 3 times, does not matter what shifts working. I go to tropical smoothie 4 times a week. This location is easily the worst in Charlotte and surrounding area.

Best tropical smoothie I’ve been to. The staff is top-tier.

Every single female in there has an attitude no matter if you’re nice or not. My order wasn’t ready when I walked in so I stepped to the side to wait, the three females running the front proceeded to start running their mouths about “if you’re gonna place an online order maybe you should be on time to pick it up” I arrived at the restaurant when the online system told me to be there. And it was still being made. After being handed my order I politely said thank you, the girl who handed me my order, rolled her eyes and goes “mhm” before walking away. Inappropriate.

Last time I ordered the chicken quesadilla, it was really good with plenty of chicken, but this time it was barely filled halfway through. Very disappointing. The jalapeno corn wasn't as good as last time either, but pairing it with the cheddar Sunchips did help improve it.

The young man running the register must not have been able to hear me over his headphones in his ear when i asked for chips with my order. The cook who made my wrap must have not been able to read bc when I asked for no lettuce or tomatoes, i magically wound up with lettuce and tomatoes on my wrap. Remade the wrap after having to verify my receipt no problem. Young kids need supervision.

Came in this afternoon to order a quick bite. It took them 20 minutes to prepare 1 flatbread and 1 wrap with only 3 other customers in the restaurant! Didn’t even get the order right. 7 people working here too! Do better!

Nothing was right, this has to be the worst experience I’ve had at Tropical Smoothie. This was the first and last time I’ve been at this location

Today was my second time visiting Tropical Smoothie Cafe on Corning Place, the customer service was so awesome, Anayia took her time to explain to me in detail what was in my smoothie I didn't feel rushed at all, because of Anayia I will most definitely return to this location.
