Tropical Grille

I have been to several Tropical Grille stores, all consistently good. Home recipes with 5 star flavor.

The owner is so nice. She did not give me my drink cup until my food was ready so she upgraded me to a large for my wait. She was very friendly. The establishment is extremely clean. The good was cooked fresh and you can tell that the ingredients are fresh. Try the garlic cilantro sauce. I got the chicken fresco bowl with a side of plantains. It was plenty of food but DID NOT make me feel weighed down afterwards. I am ready to go back!

Great food and great service. The owner/manager is always friendly and willing to give suggestions on what to try. I’ve tried the South of the Border, Cuban and the Palomilla and have not been disappointed yet. I cannot choose a favorite! This place and the employees are a breath of fresh air during a time where customer service and food quality seem to be on a decline. Highly recommend and will be spreading the word!

Had it the other day it was great. wish they didn't nickle and dime you for the condiments. salsa sour cream etc. like why isn't the price of a bowl the price of the bowl. it's listed as $12 and then you have to choose sauces then they charge you so it ends up being $14 and change. just charge what you need to charge and stop with the hidden fee garbage. other than that the food was great

Absolutely incredible food! I’m from Miami FL so when I moved up here I was missing my Pollo Tropical and Chicken Kitchen from down there but oh my goooood I am so happy because this food is not only comparable to some of my favorite spanish cuisine down in Florida but it’s EVEN BETTER!! Great service and the restaurant is always spotless ! Highly recommend this place, I’m obsessed

My wife’s family absolutely loves this restaurant in the Greenville, SC area so she was very happy to see a new location here now here in Charlotte. The food is always delicious and service very friendly. Was just a bit sad to see that I was the only customer in the building when I picked up my large take-out order. This place really deserves a lot more customers which I’m sure will happen once more people in the area learn about it.

I was having a craving for something fresh and remembered that they were fairly new to the neighborhood. I'm so glad we gave this place a try! As soon as we walked in, we were greeted, and the place was very clean. I am really grateful to the young lady who helped explain the menu to me. My kids enjoyed their Cuban chicken bowl. My shrimp and steak bowl was packed full of flavor. Super fresh and great portions. I'm really happy they're in the neighborhood. We were missing a restaurant that offers fresh healthier options in the area. I'm excited to come back and try the rest of their menu!
