Great food, cooked to perfection. Staff very friendly. Parking: Plenty spaces, easy to park. All spaces are close to the entrance for the deli/shop, and the restaurant.
I’m sure this restaurant is very successful, good reputation too. However I was very disappointed to receive a luke warm vegetarian lasagne served with salad. I pointed out that it would be better served separately in its own bowl with salad on the side because hot and cold food should not be served on the same plate. The following day I had an upset stomach because as lasagne is only heated up, not freshly cooked, it should have been thoroughly heated to remove any bacteria. This applies to any food previously cooked. The restaurant has a good reputation and has been established for years so I wished I’d chosen something else.
Taken along by some friends who said how good the cakes were! They didn't disappoint! Lovely venue, great farm shop too
Went today to pick our own strawberries. They looked beautiful and firm but once we arrived back home (after approximately 1h after picking) 1/3 of them were "puffy" and smell of wine. I was going to make a cake but I had to use them with cream for kids immediately and rest of it used with smoothie. Waste of money to use it that way. This happened 2nd year in a row so unfortunately we won't be picking strawberries here next year.
Our first meal here and it won't be our last. Great menu choice which makes a refreshing change. Food was great and very good value, the staff very attentive despite how busy they were. Many thanks.
It’s a VERY commercial spot with mass produced meals. If you’re hoping for a farm to table kind of feel this is not it.
Food was good, but I ordered a large roast lamb and the only difference between that and the standard roast lamb was one small potato! That I'd thouught was having a laugh! Very disappointed at that considering the extra cost.Veg portions were very small . Sunday night 24/3/24
