Tree City Coffee & Pastry

I've tried just about all the coffee shops in Kent and this one pretty much takes the cake. For starters a blueberry macchiato is on the menu and I mean if you haven't tried it you're seriously missing out. The coffee has a great flavor, the staff is always friendly, they have a plethora of bagel options, and a drive thru. I love their coffee and I'm pretty sure if you give it a try, you will too!

I have been coming here since becoming a student at Kent State! Run of the mill, a tad stale IME. 1. Not an ideal place to study, it is dark in here and the ambience is dusty 2. Storage boxes are constantly visible, messily stacked maintenance items like stationary and Christmas decorations can be seen year round 3. Coffee is ok but the people giving it to you are going to be rude 4. Some bakery items are from Costco and are overpriced 5. Paper towels and soap dispensers do not work, they just place them on a stool next to the sink. Not the cleanest or most well maintained.

I got a ice latte with hazelnut syrup and oatmilk. This is my favorite coffee shop in Kent. It is so insanely good. This is the only coffee place in Kent that doesn’t hurt my stomach or make me nauseous. It is so smooth and so delicious. I highly recommend getting coffee from here. The decaf is just as good as the normal coffee.

Amazing coffee but couldn't get my avocado toast cuz they stop making food one hour before close I completely understand tho and the staff was super sweet abt it

Bathrooms very dirty

Nice place but I don’t think I would visit again. Plenty of seating and a good assortment of desserts. The brownie was bland. The cold brew foam looked like spit.

The owner pays so much attention to detail and truly has the most fun and picture worthy drinks!! The employees are always so sweet and ready to give recommendations on whatever you’re looking for!! Being a vegetarian I find many options at this cafe that I cant find at others!! Truly a safe, clean, and fun environment to hang out with friends, study, or enjoy your day!! Will most definitely be returning!!
