Stayed in local hotel and called into pub for food. Very good portion and tasty - excellent after a day in the hills. Worth a visit Vegetarian options: Veg chilli and burger very good. More veg options on menu than the hotel we stayed at

Great stop for a hot meal and a pint. Service was great and food was brilliant.

Great little pub situated in a lovely spot just a few minutes walk from the campsite. Ordering at the bar was quick and easy, although I found the staff especially the older gentleman a little bit grumpy! (I guess nobody really wants to work on a Saturday night..) Food was a good side portion and tasted great. I imagine it will be difficult to get a seat in the summer so arrive early!!

Went for tea after a long day walking, Scampi was amazing, chips were great. I love the box of condiments, really great idea! Very warm on an evening and the atmosphere was so wonderful, it felt like I knew everyone there even though I'd never seen them before. Highly recommend the fudge cake.
