Service was horrible. Steak was over cooked orders mixed up. Order never came Waiter didn't give a ____. They don't work for tips zero incentive to help you. We planned on a special steak dinner as advertised. It is a factory. Some of the good rating you see may be valid but its a gamble to go spend $$$$$ and get stuck with bad server. No one has any reason to help. They are to busy. Don’t get tricked into this tourist hype. It’s not worth it. Plenty of better options.

Trattoria Dall’Oste in the center of the heart of downtown Florence, has been voted one of the top 100 World Best Steak Restaurants for 2024. It offers a charming escape with its cozy ambiance and delightful menu. Among its many culinary highlights, the T-bone steak and pasta stand out as exceptional choices. I was greated and seated by Ledio who was extremely charming. Karol was our waiter who was also exceptional and knew everything about the menu and gave great recommendations. The Bistrcca allá Fiorentina (T-bone) here is a must-try for meat lovers. Cooked to perfection, the steak boasts a tender, juicy texture with a perfect sear on the outside. Seasoned with a blend of herbs and spices, each bite is a savory delight. The portion is generous, making it a satisfying option for those with a hearty appetite. Equally impressive is their pasta. The Pappardelle al sugo di cinghiale, a popular choice, is a home made pasta with wild boar sauce. The addition of freshly Parmesan elevates the dish, providing a comforting and indulgent experience. I had the pleasure to meet the executive chef, Lenci, who was fabulous. His whole crew works very well in the kitchen which is why the food is spectacular! Trattoria Dall’Oste combines great food with friendly service, making it a wonderful spot for a memorable meal. Whether you're craving a robust T-bone steak or a classic pasta dish, this restaurant promises to deliver quality and flavor in every bite. We finished with an Amaro Del Capo and limoncello. Thank you Karol and the whole crew! We will definitely be back.

Da macellaio: Carne buona, posto carino e nel complesso ci sta… Però quando ordini una fiorentina da 1.3kg (113euro) DEVI portarmela al tavolo, farmela vedere e poi la cuoci… non esiste che io non possa vedere la bistecca… come faccio ad avere la sicurezza di avere mangiato la chianina oppure mi hanno servito una scottona? (Lo dico perché la chianina DEVE essere marchiata con il sigillo e quindi dal carrè lo puoi notare) Nel complesso esperienza positiva, ma prezzi un po’ troppo alti
