Staff are lovely and the food is good
Ok, but limited choice. Hoped for more, it was ok, baisic but over prised for hamburger, fish and chips at £15 each, drinks more expensive with carling pint at nearly £5. Worth hLf this, hence place empty
The place was nice, the staff members were amazing except that racist Italian chef who made me feel that I don't want to go to the restaurant breakfast just to ignore seeing him, he did not hear any single word about professionalism on the contrary to the other respectful chefs .
The best always friendly staff thank you
We had a 3 course meal here as a family of four during our overnight stay. The restaurant is nice and the service was excellent. We opted for classics such as fish & chips, gammon and chocolate fudge cake desserts. All was faultless.
After reading negative reviews on here, I wasn't sure what to expect but I was really impressed by Townfields. It's not cheap but it's a proper restaurant and all such places cost these days. The point is, it's worth it. I considered removing a star for the staff being nothing like as knowledgeable as they should be for the standard of the establishment. But I decided that would be churlish. The service was good, it was friendly and it was quick. The atmosphere is relaxed and tranquil, just right for a quiet night out. The food, though, is what stands out. The two of us ordered different things over three courses and all six dishes were top quality. A bit different, beautifully presented and memorably delicious. Definitely recommended.
