Friendly staff. Hit and miss on getting good fresh fruits and vegetables. But it's like that everywhere. Best to go on Optimum special days. Prices are very competitive.
It was clean and prices are good. I wish they would open the cash that has the disability sign though. I can't stand long and the lines sometimes they kill me.
I always see the same cashier being rude to people over and over again and I tend to avoid her line. Yesterday she had no one in her line because she was busy talking to other cashiers and I was in a hurry so I went to her. Big mistake on my part. Was rude from the get go then said she wouldn’t sell me a sale item because there was a limit. I said it wasn’t posted and the guy stocking them literally helped me get them all because I was too short, why wouldn’t he say something then? She starts waving a paper and says “we have the limits up here” so she calls someone and says “This lady is saying you told her she could buy whatever she wanted” so I corrected her because that’s not what I said, she did this with another staff and the manager who came up. By this point I’m obviously not going to buy the groceries or return there. From what I can see from other peoples situations the owners don’t care either. It’s a shame that a decent priced neighbourhood grocery store is ok with this being how they are represented.
Cashiers are very unprofessional talking to each other about scheduling and personal stuff like I didn’t exist. I almost got ran over by the employee stocking produce didn’t apologize or say excuse me.
I was asked by more then 2 people if I found everything. Clean. Stocked up.
