Tony Harper's Pizza & Clam Shack

Ordered a bucket of muscles 4x in an hour ...never received it...not impressed at all

I have been visiting Old Forge for years. I love thin crust pizza, and actually seek it out in my travels. I have had lots of places’ version of thin crust, even try to make it at home. When they are “on”, the Tony Harper’s in Old Forge has some of the best thin crust “broadway” style pizza anywhere. The Hunter is my favorite. Some of my family’s best casual dinning experiences and memories have been here. And it’s not just the pizza, the whole menu and experience can be an experience talked about for years. When they are “off”, like swamped or the right person is not running the kitchen, buyer be aware. You may have to suffer through 40 + minutes of waiting only to be told the broadway pizza is not available today (happened twice to my family). If the thin crust pizza wasn’t as good as it actually is, when you get a good one, I would have stopped going a long time ago. The pictures included in this review represent pizza’s and service that were excellent.

Decent pizza and good seafood menu.

Let me start off by saying this is the best pizza I’ve ever tried in NY state. Even better than any pizza i have had in NYC. Tony Harper’s always puts on plenty of sauce on the pizza and never has too much cheese but just the perfect amount. My mom even got a free hair on her pizza as a topping and they didn’t even charge for it. Overall I would recommend coming here if you’re looking for top tier pizza and delicious bbq wings that have plenty of sauce just like the pizza.

Waited over an hour for our food. Poorly lit environment, mid food.

The food and the service is great. The lighting is terrible. It is way too dark in the place. My mother had to use her flash light on her phone to see the menu.

Pizza was delicious. Got thr 3 dozen clams with garlic butter. You had to dip the clams instead of them being cooked in the butter like we've had in the past. Also they were extremely sandy.

Great wings and service! Huge tvs playing football!
