Tonka hero

Showed up at 830 1st try and were turned away because it was "too late" for hot pot. Hostess informed us we needed to be there before 830, showed up the next day at 815 and received the same story. Asked to see the manager, no manager around only a cook that wouldn't come talk with us. Pretty disappointed, highly recommend going basically anywhere else.

Interesting experience. Might be our new hotpot place to go. The restaurant look great. Love the Japanese fast food concept. Not sure about the Japanese pop music, bit didn't bother us. Servers very nice and attentive but didn't have same taste (recomendations). We ordered the spicy tonkatsu and the another 3rd infantry division spicy soup, and the octopus balls. The food is great. Love the individual hotpot. Yet, I prefer more traditional hotpot without hotdogs, cheese, and spam. I will never order that 3rd infantry division soup, LoL. But definitely the tonkotsu one. I recomend this place.

Food was great. Not only I was craving for good kimchi but also rich broth loaded with veggies and meat made for a perfect pot
