The food was cooked well, but plating and seasoning definitely needed some work. Service was nonexistent. We took in an expensive bottle of wine for a special occasion. We had to open it ourselves because the server didn't know how, she brought out a disgustingly filthy decanter, and then we had to serve the wine ourselves which meant I had to get up and walk around the large table to pour. I never mind a corkage fee but there's was a little high considering I had to do all of the wine work. We ordered martinis to start, they tasted like dish water and the olives were inedible. I do not recommend this "fine dining" restaurant at all, you'll get better service at a better price elsewhere.

The food was prepared absolutely perfectly! Very delicious! Wagyu steak, medium rare, cooked to perfection. Asparagus was fresh and tasty. Potatoes seasoned well. However, the wait staff was unknowledable about wine, service, and etiquette. The decanter was filthy and had a previous wine's dried sediment in the bottom. The cocktails had low quality ingredients despite the top tier alcohol we ordered. It was a little loud. They put 5 of us at a round 8-top table so that was weird. Very likely won't return. Great food though!

After looking for a place to eat for hours my friend recommended this place. It was after 8 or 9 I ordered the steak and fries. I asked for no cheese on the fries but they served it with the parm. Luckily they rectified that. I have never been served a medium well steak that was as charred as this one. It was burnt to a crisp. The steak had absolutely no flavor. I was very disappointed. The service was great. I just don't know if I'll be back there wasn't many dishes on the menu that catches my attention.

Made a reservation here, our reservation was given away. The place was completely empty other than two other couples but the hostess said she can only seat us by the door because she “expects them to become busy” - I am not sure why you wouldn’t prioritize the physical costumers standing in front of you…. The entire place reeked of cigarette smoke. The leather seats were ripped and the paint on the walls chipping. My bf’s steak came out purple and my food (flounder) tasted only of butter - it did not melt like butter, it was not as tender as butter, it TASTED like I was eating a stick of butter. No salt or pepper at the table either. The websites says, “fine dining” and “white table cloth” but the tables are covered in white paper. For the price we were paying… not worth it.

Absolutely unacceptable for a two-person $200 dinner. This restaurant has gone vastly downhill. Food stains all over the walls, filthy ceilings and carpets haven't been cleaned properly in ages. Air filters obviously aren't kept up with. The restaurant sent out at least three emails advertising their NYE menu, get there and nearly half of the options were NOT available at all. How are you going to promote and advertise a menu for a special occasion and then not offer that menu?!? Our server said "He does things differently" and forced us to order the entire meal at once, which wouldn't have been a big deal IF he was capable of keeping up with and firing food when he needed to... He was not. Didn't get our entrees until we'd been there for an hour and forty minutes, almost an hour after we finished our apps. The food came out COLD COLD and wasn't seasoned whatsoever. Had to ask for salt and pepper for the table... Again, unacceptable for this level of dining and the costs associated. The rockfish was very clearly put in the microwave after sitting around a while, cold outside, nuclear inside, wildly overcooked and served skin up so the steam just continued to cook. Didn't have any sauce or seasoning on the plate AT ALL. Potatoes with the filet were cold and gluey, at least the filet was cooked well but still ZERO seasoning. Service was severely lacking, incredibly slow and we were the first seating of the night!! Do better.

Edited: 1/3/24: Every time I drive by Todd Jurich's Bistro I think about how bad this night was. Years later and still the worst "fine dining experience I have ever had. How is this place still open? Edit: 9/24/2021 here I am three days later still mad I spent $150 on this meal. Seriously could have had a better meal at TGI Fridays. Just don't go save yourself the hassle. We went to Tod Jurich's Bistro to celebrate my wife's birthday. I ordered the fillet (med rare) and lobster over mashed potatoes with salad. The plate arrived with a pool of a clear mystery liquid around its circumference. My guess is it was a biproduct of defrosting the frozen lobster. The beef was over cooked and the salad consisted of two leaves of spinach and half a leaf of romaine. The lobster was bad it was clearly frozen and served is shredded pieces. I was unable to identify claw or tail meat . The bread pudding was the only redeemable part of the meal and the only reason for the second star. This meal was not what I would expect for the price point. To accompany the lackluster food we were treated to quite the show from our fellow dinners. A man named Greg spent the better part of a half hour shouting across the room to another table. He covered topics including how large his pentation was, how successful his property management business is, organizing his class reunion (Norview class of 1980), the private cook he uses who operates out of her basement in Ghent (she is a hustler always trying to sell you something) and his brothers success in the aviation industry. As Greg was shouting about having the inside track on where all the fruit flies were coming from (Tod told him they usually only are at the bar but they seem to really like the pumpkin decorations) and handing out business cards one of the dinners at the table next to ours vomited all over their table. Patrons scrambled to grab spare napkins for the dinner to clean up their vomit. I assume she was just reacting to the taste of the defrosted lobster. Despite being in the splash zone, no attempt was made to clean out table or replace any of out food or drinks.
