Excellent meal friendly staff

A good example of a Toby Carvery. Tried on a Wednesday evening and it was fully booked! Went back after booking a couple of days later and all was as you'd expect from a Toby. Good roasts and lots of fresh veg along with all the gravy. One star knocked off for service as i got forgotten about for quite a long time when trying to pay my bill.

Extremely rude carvery chef,poor dry food...appalling service !! Never again ....!!

Avoid!!!! After waiting nearly 15 minuets for gravy after being served, our food had gone cold. No one took any notice of the complaints!!! Having tried to resolve this over their own site(just a robotic email answer) I have emailed them again and a week later still no response!! Customer service none existant.

Service was very slow, I requested a high chair at time of booking and we were offered a booth so had to wait to be reseated, drinks order was wrong and pudding was burnt to a crisp although the restaurant did take it off the bill but it shouldn’t have left the kitchen

We didn’t book but got a very warm welcome from Gill and Harri, there was only 2 of us so only had to wait 10 mins for a table. Headed to the bar where we were greeted by Aaron who was very friendly. Food was excellent, staff were brilliant, Isobelle and Joanna were very attentive during service. Our carver Jacob was lovely too, great atmosphere, an all round great experience.

No red meat available! Was gutted!

Always the best for an all in breakfast. Great food, great value.
