Always great staff, I always even see the manager checking shelfs and moving buggies
It's a grocery store, it's got groceries, the prices could stand to be a little cheaper, c'est la vie.
It is a adequate place to buy groceries and seafood. Better places in town to get it (ie. other Thrifty locations). They have some good staff members working there. However, there are three or four obnoxious ones that are arrogant and derogatory towards customers. Also, they feel that they are better than the customers for whatever reason. It is never ok to be condescending towards customers at anytime no matter what the reason is.
As someone who's been a loyal patron of Thrifty's for as long as I can remember, I feel compelled to share my recent experiences. Living just a stone's throw away, it's been my go-to spot, visited almost daily with my partner. But sadly, what should be a convenient and pleasant shopping experience has turned horrible due to some employees' behavior. I've been unfairly targeted multiple times based on my appearance, age, and where I come from. Despite being innocent, I've been accused of theft, had my bag searched without reason, and even had employees invade my personal space. Today, one even touched my back and questioned my discomfort. It's just not right. I've raised these concerns before, but nothing seems to change. It's not about getting special treatment, just basic respect and fairness. I'm sure others have faced similar treatment. Let's stand together to ensure that everyone, regardless of how they look or where they're from, can shop without fear or discrimination.
The quality of fruits and vegetables is good. The flower shop is quite small compared to the Broadmead store
In the cheese section near the Deli, they have gourmet cheese on sale for $4.69 but it’s a month past its best before date!!!!Feb 02/24 And you can buy stale bread that goes moldy the next day for $4.99… what a joke!!! Hey manager???? You just lost a customer who has shopped there since 2011…. There are so many better alternatives now
I like to get pepperoni stick buns from thriftys. For some reason, at this thriftys, someone is cutting 2 inches off the ends of the pepperoni sticks, which makes it so that there is not a full stick of pepperoni in the bun. This is consistent with all of them I have bought here. At other thriftys, there is a full stick of pepperoni. It kind of sucks to be robbed of two bites of the pepperoni!
I love thrifty foods they have a great organic section and carry items wal mart wouldn't dream of carrying
