This Is It! Southern Kitchen & Bar-B-Q

I am very pleased with this particular location. I eat two to three times a week. I always a pleasure to be greeted by Tiffany.

The lady in the front is rude.

I really enjoyed my Lunch today. I stopped in to get me and My hubby a meal. I Always go to the This is It in College park. But I was in the Fayetteville area making a House call to one of my Clients. The food was really good and the service. I love there Dressing, Yams, Greens and Chitterlings. My hubby didn't really care for the Baked beans and Potato salad.

I ordered "Fried Pork Chops" for myself and a veggie plate for my wife. I received something that looked like 1/4 inch bacon strips for pork chops. Very disappointed. Both chops combined equaled one chop my wife would have made me. I feel like I wasted my money. It won't happen again because "This is it".

I’ve been in Fayetteville for about a year and had never stopped by This Is It so I decided to tonight when I needed something hearty. Not only that (no offense to anyone), but I’m black and wanted to support a black business. I honestly wish I didn’t and will not be returning. Everything about it was mediocre! I can understand when food is not up to my par because everyone’s cooking is not as good as my grandmas but when the service is bad as well, I can’t get with it. Cabbage was almost near raw , baked chicken was not cooked enough (had a raw taste to it) and it was not seasoned at all . Macaroni & cheese tasted like kid- cuisine , peach cobbler tasted like custard and saltine crackers . The only thing good was the toast , the lemonade and the sweet potato mash . Oh and I forgot to mention that I asked for another piece of chicken and the lady told me that adding a piece of chicken would be the amount of another plate . So In all , I spent $37.50 just to get home and it was all GARBAGE . This is unacceptable . I will not be back and recommend no one else goes either . Might I add , this is not the only location that I’ve been to that was bad like this . However , today was the icing on the cake.
