Location is permanently closed

When did checkers stop taking orders at the walk-up window? We've been coming to this location for years, by driving through and walking up. So imagine our surprise when my wife and I walked up to order lunch, only to be told (after waiting patiently for almost 10 minutes) that they don't take orders at the window and that we'd have to drive through. We're told this while standing at the window, underneath a lit neon "order" sign. A disappointing end to our afternoon to say the least. As much as I enjoy the food here, I don't enjoy it enough to walk back home to get my car and then drive back to order it.

Sadly, the employees that worked here the last few years, except for just a few, caused this Checkers to close. Horrible customer service, angry hostile tempers, and they had extreme difficulty fulfilling orders correctly. I had to go to the window many times before they cut off the window service, so I could watch them make my daughters burgers she was allergic to cheese. One employee got it wrong twice, and then threw the burger I just brought back against the wall in front of me while screaming as I stood at the window. Another hostile employee would berate their co-workers and had such an attitude I would want to drive away before I got my food. The owner of this establishment should have had better control and been more involved in day to day activity. Once they installed the voice generated ordering I was done because it made ordering a custom burger impossible. I hope someone more capable of running a business takes over and re-opens this place.

I stopped by tonight and they appear closed. The drive-through lanes are blocked, the menu board is missing the menu, it has been dark for a few days and they don't answer the phone.

Extremely rude and unprofessional. Condescending attitudes. Just walked off in the middle of me ordering and assumed I was done, which i wasn't, instead of asking. Just an overall nasty demeanor.

Never got waited on. I left

Nice lil flashback to the Rally's that i am used to. Line moved along quickly because of the 2 lane drive thur innovative that others fast food should implement. Food was hot and fresh and served with a smile and genuine care
