Went during brunch - lunch times the day after the St. Patrick's Day parade. It is very loud in here so plan accordingly. The food is okay. I think the focus here is definitely on the drinks. The chicken quesadilla had no chicken in it. They have gluten-free bread and bun options but had to send my grilled cheese back because they gave me regular bread. If I didn't check I would've been glutened. Free refills and bottomless mimosas are nice. The atmosphere is your run of the mill Pittsburgh dive bar. Our waitress, Lydia was amazing though. Vegetarian options: Many vegetarian options Dietary restrictions: Gluten-free options Parking: Street parking if you're lucky Wheelchair accessibility: Not very accessible. Must climb a steep flight of stairs to get in.
Was excited to come here as the last time I dined at the yard was prior to Covid. I ordered the espresso martini as I do at just about every restaurant I eat at & was talking to a friend about how it looked slightly different but still tasted delicious & how I would order another. I’m not sure if it was the manager or just a bartender but I heard them call my friend & I extremely inappropriate names all while standing maybe 10 feet from our table. The food was great but the professionalism was not. Highly disappointed in the service so I will not be returning to this location. I hope nobody else has this same experience.
Neat little spot in Market Square. I ordered the wings and honestly they were dry and gross. Wound up getting boneless wings which we're just fine. The food really didn't stand out.
Got the hot honey wings and they came practically undressed because the dressing was pure water, not to mention the Wings were over cooked and dried out. The pretzels were also over cooked & burnt. So were the chips for the buffalo chicken dip. I don’t normally post bad reviews but this is the worst experience I’ve ever had. $60 for inedible food.
Wonderful food and friendly service
