The service was good but the beer was flat and the nachos were skimpy and cheese was a little burnt the nachos are definitely not worth $20

Served a raw hamburger to my child aa takeout. The "club" is old dry turkey on a hamburger bun. Maybe it's good when you eat in, take out is total garbage

The Wooden Monkey was recommended by my friends living here, they certainly cater to a number of dietary restrictions which are very helpful and they have great food. I can't describe each dish, but there were no cons, everything was well seasoned, the crust on scallops and salmon were to perfection, mussels were delicious not the best we had but very good, and starches had good flavours. I can't say anything was too special or unique but for a farm to table experience that catered to some restrictions, it was tasty.

The food was average though catering to a lot of dietary requirements but bland...had the lamb ravioli and scallop pasta the mussels and breshetta were OK though and the chickpea salad was nice, I would have complained about the portions but to be honest I was glad to finish my food early, what I dint like about the service is that there was alot of room in the restaurant and the server kept coming and asking if we'd want the bill that was irksome, it would have been OK if there were lines of customers waiting to be served but that was just...plus the atmosphere was too loud...

Always great food and service here. My first time at the Halifax location. Same great variety of field to table options and for different dietary restrictions.
