I have been a couple of times to this pub. There always seems to be something going on.
Alcohol free beer is very expensive
Love meeting here each month -1st Wed of the month- Bedford Mountaineering Club. Come and join us!
Food delivered was not that was ordered,ie fish and chips came as fish pie,Indian curry with nan was described as pita bread, and you would expect the yogurt and pickle to be in a ramekin,it was put on top of the curry so no choice in the matter. Both meals were £17.50 each (ouch!).One of us ordered a special of the day pie with mash and peas, where the peas could be counted on one hand. When this was queried we were told they had run out of peas, how come when they had a shop across the road, and were offered brocoli instead with extra mash.Cost of this meal approx £17.After all this, the meals did taste nice but at a price!
Great Quiz night, especially as we won.
Everything about the experience was OK. They staff were very friendly and. The red cabbage was lovely.
Super friendly service as usual. We visit every week and Luke and staff always make us feel welcome.
