The Whistledown Hotel

Nice restaurant upstairs, nice decor and great view over Carlingford Lough if seated by a window which we were. Staff are pleasant and attentive and the food was excellent. Service was quite quick too. Definitely worth a visit for a bite to eat. The bar downstairs can get quite busy at the weekends and there's usually a band playing on a Sunday afternoon. The decor in the bar area is quite nice though it can be hard to get a seat and service at the bar can be slow. There's seating outside at the front but it would need to be a really nice warm day as it can be quite cold with the onshore breeze.

The Whistledown Hotel is a Beautiful place to visit and the staff are very attentive with fantastic food and service.

Me and my family arrived in the hotel for our dinner. The service was great and the location. Only 1 thing there was no car park neat the hotel. A member of my family was in a wheelchair and a member of my family had to drop her of at the front of the hotel. Food & drinks: The food is lovely. I had the soup, turkey and the chocolate cake.

I go here for lunch sometimes. I really enjoy the food and service. Staff are very friendly, food is great, and there is a nice atmosphere.
