Food and Service was 5 star! Highly recommend this restaurant
We were surprised to receive awful service at the restaurant and a very combative server. The eggs Benedict were mediocre and terribly overpriced; however, the restaurant is beautiful!
Loved It Wonderfully. I ate like a Millionaire was served like a queen! My Mom used to sing here on New Years Eve. Memories.
Went to High tea for the first time. Had a wonderful experience
We went to high tea. It was a themed the Nightmare before Christmas. My 7 year old granddaughter loved it and asked if we could come next year. Kid-friendliness: The tea was kid friendly.
We chose the Westgate Hotel for our Mother's Day brunch, and it exceeded our expectations. The menu offered a selection of carefully crafted American and other dishes. I'm writing this review with the hope that the Westgate will reinstate its pre-COVID Mother's Day buffet brunch, which was one of the best buffets our family ever experienced. The buffet featured a wide variety of traditional and non-traditional breakfast foods, with multiple stations, all presented in a classically European decor. Although this time we ordered a la carte, the food was still delicious, and we left the restaurant feeling satisfied. Westgate, we eagerly anticipate the return of your buffet when it is safe to do so.
Bizarre experience. My wife and I were literally the only diners our entire hour and 15 minutes dining at 6pm on a Sunday evening. Super kind and pleasant staff. Building was gorgeous and super clean with great music in the dining room (Ella Fitzgerald etc). It did take almost a full half hour for us to get our soup and salad. And NO BREAD!!! What?!?! The rest of the meal was delivered in a timely manner. Sad to say, the food was super underwhelming. My steak and my wife’s chicken were incredibly bland, the fries that accompanied my steak were 10 times worse than any fast food fries. The mashed potatoes were also super blah, and the asparagus had to have been canned with how limp and discolored it was. And for the price??? Missed the mark big time. This was a company paid dinner, luckily. Such a weird, perplexing, fun night out with my wife (and no kids with us thankfully).
