Lovely pub, just crazy expensive drinks its the only thing that lets it down , double what i normaly pay for a pint

A great traditional pub meal. As part of a large group of adults and children we visited for an evening meal. It was quite busy inside, so clearly is popular. The choice of meals is good, and the food itself is fantastic, with dinner very generous portion sizes. Service was a little slow and a couple of kids meals came out way after everyone else's (it did seem that they had been forgotten), but fortunately they were very tasty and the kids thoroughly enjoyed them. A great location, she's I imagine it's fantastic when the weather is good due to the outside pod s/seating. Highly recommend, particularly if staying at Butlins or one of the other nearby sites. I am not in a position to rate the welcome inn right now as it was a flying vist, i had one cold drink then had to go, i will vist again soon.

Yapping dogs, food 50 minute wait, only got John Smiths bitter !!

Girl who served me could of put a smile on her face..baguette was nice however hope you enjoy the apple crumble I walked of and left after an hour of waiting...slow service
