The Waterside Inn

Arrived around lunchtime,without reservations, it was busy! We expected to wait awhile for food, but the service was friendly, polite, and the food arrived VERY quickly. The food was absolutely beautiful, tasty and hot. We ordered a vegetable tart and a steak all cooked to perfection . Will definitely be coming again with extended family. Thank you

New to the area looking for somewhere local to eat, absolutely amazing food! Will definitely be visiting again. Value for food was really good and to top if off the desserts were so nice!

Lovely location, great place for a drink

Lovely dog friendly pub, loved that the menu was a bit different from your usual pub, but with some familiar classics as well. Flatbread was gorgeous and LOVED the lemon and white choc cheesecake. Hubby had the black and blue burger which he thoroughly enjoyed. Waited on by two lovely members of staff who couldn't do enough for us and were so super friendly. And loved watching the boats go through the lock! We will definitely be back.

Had a lovely lunch here today. Would recommend Waterside. Staff were nice and helpful. I will be going again for sure.

Really enjoyed our meal here. Right next to the canal, would be lovely outside in the summer. Friendly staff, we were very well looked after. Would definitely go again.
