A really good pub restaurant. The food is really good and the environment in the pub is classic. Parking is good with plenty of space.
Nice place keen staff quiet.
Stayed in the air BnB which is located onto the pub it was fab, your own space away from home. My thing when I’m away is are the plugs located close enough to the bed and yes they are. Laura was the host who is there to answer any questions you may have. Francis and Laura both are a pleasure to deal with. Had food in the Waggon and Horses and it was exceptional, fish and chips the first night made by the lovely Lisa, then the Cajun chicken burger the Friday made by Sam it was amazing I want the recipe! Served by Cassie who is so chirpy just a delight to be around. And the Saturday before I left I had the Club sandwich again it was delicious! Will definitely be back.
Great service and good food
Booked for Mother’s Day at 4pm arrived 30mins early for drinks and we were told off, eye rolled at and spoke about and refused drinks. We were made to wait outside in the rain/fog (along with other family’s) by the owners who were displeased we were there. Waiting on staff and food lovely however the owners attitudes were disgusting. Witnessed other tables being treated the same way, eye rolling by owner at the inconvenience of customers.
Good night and some good fun doing the quiz
Lovely food, reasonable price, would have been 5 stars but even though we booked table for two o clock and got there early, we waited an hour and half for our food
